Introduction
Milk pasteurization machine is a set of sterilization, cooling in one equipment, the machine is mainly used for pasteurization and cooling of fresh milk products. The working principle of pasteurization machine for milk is to take advantage of the heat-resistant characteristics of pathogens, treat them with appropriate temperature and holding time, and kill them all. After pasteurization, the nutrition of milk is effectively retained, and the milk is more healthy and tastes more pure.

The pasteurizer is automatic controlled by a PLC control system, and the control equipment is programmed for the following functions, which are initiated by pushing the following function keys:
START: The plant is started and prepared for pre-sterilisation or CIP.
PRESTERILISATION: The plant is sterilised and made ready for production. The pre-sterilisation is made by circulation of hot water 80°C for 10 min
PRODUCTION: The production can be started when the pre-selected temperature and capacity have been reached. During production it is possible to stop the production and still maintain sterility, by running hot water.
The product enters the balance tank at a temperature of 4°C and from the balance tank the pump transfer the product through the pre-heater.
The sterile product is now led through the regenerative heating section of the tubular unit and heat up to approximately 60 °C by mean of regenerative heating, the product is transferred directly to the homogeniser where it is homogenised at the pre-set pressure..
Hereafter the product enters the next section of the tubular heat exchanger and is here heated to app 80°C and held at this temperature for app. 15 seconds. This temperature is controlled by a temperature controller. The temperature transmitters are placed at the inlet and outlet of the holding cell. Finally the product is led to the balance tank.
STERILE CIP: During re-circulation of water, it is possible to switch to Sterile CIP cleaning at production temperatures, and when sterile CIP is finished, re-circulation of water without pre-sterilisation being necessary.
CIP: After the production is finish the plant must be cleaned. The pasteurizer must be cleaned after work around 5 hours.
